3/n Did you notice, #DNJha's keywords: "A Tibetan tradition", 'Tibetan text "Pag Sam Jon Zang"', ‘Hindu fanatics’.

Now, get these facts:
"Pag Sam Jon Zang" is a text written by "Sumpa Khan-Po Yece Pal Jor" who lived between 1702-75.

When did the first Eng Translation happen?
4/n The first English Translation of "Pag Sam Jon Zang" was done by "Sarat Chandra Das", published in 1908.

It is important to know that great Tibetian Scholar SC Das, the translator of the Tibetan Text worked as a spy for the British in Tibet.

5/n This is the introductory page of the translated version.

SC Das was even Associate Member of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. The same society which took responsibility to misinterpret various Hindu Texts & being instrumental in Linguistic Fraud wrt Aryan Migration Myth.
6/n Though this 1908 translated work too fails to even establish that "Hindu Fanatics" ransacked "Nalanda" as claimed by #DNJha. What does it state? Let us read from the book itself (snippet).
7/n So, will #DNJha tell if, just two beggars ran from structures to the structure of the ginormous Nalanda campus full of Buddhist Monks, & were able to burn the entire campus with distantly scattered buildings?

Did you notice one thing in the snippet from DN Jha's source?
8/n The source of DN Jha is just a summary of the actual passage in an index. What does the passage about the burning down of the library, say in Tibetian Text for real?

This page has the actual passage. One can vet it from someone knowing Tibetian Lang. I have already done same.
9/n The text actually can be paraphrased into following:

"Dharma has survived three attempts of destruction. First, during the varying relations between, king of Turkistan, Khunimamasta & the king of Nyiog, Dharmachandra.
10/n Dharmachandra sends gifts that Khunimamatsa thought to prop of black magic. Hence, he, swoops down from “dhurukha”, destroying “the three bases” of Magadha: monasteries, scriptures, and stupas thereby driving out the monks.
11/n Dharmachandra’s uncle sends scholarly delegations to China to spread the Dharma for which gold was rewarded as thanksgiving. He utilizes them and other gifts to appease rulers of smaller kingdoms to join the fight against Khunimamatsa.
12/n The uncle of Khunimamatsa revives 'the three bases'. He gets restored almost all shrines and builds 84 new helping the dharma to survive.

In the next round, 'the teacher who taught prajnaparamita for 20 years is assassinated by burglars from dhurukha.
13/n His blood turns into milk & many flowers emerged from his body. And he goes into the sky.”

It is surprising to believe that a Marxist #DNJha was referring to the texts which talk of miracles like blood turning into milk & flowers emerging from the body of Monk.
14/n About the third aspect which has been described wrt burning of library and is exclusively summarised by SC Das (picked by DN Jha) has been well translated by Geshe Dorji Damdul (snippet).

15/n Which Marxist is going to believe on an account like this (quoted tweet):
1) Fire rained overbuilding using Siddhi
2)Water flowing from scripture to protect them
