Today, I signed an Executive Order that loosens some restrictions in MERC Regions 6 & 8 (Upper Peninsula & Traverse City areas). Starting this Friday, these regions can reopen:
Retail stores
Restaurants/bars with limited seating
Office work that cannot be done remotely.

If you’re in the UP or Traverse City area and choose to go out to a restaurant or store, please continue to do everything in your power to protect yourself from this virus. Our ability to move forward in other regions depends on each of us staying smart and staying safe.
