Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a top 3 player in #NBA
history and should at be included in the GOAT debate. To start, he had the most unstoppable shot ever.He scored the most points ever with 38,387 pts. He only made one 3 pointer in his career. He also has a record 6 MVP awards. (1/7)

As if this wasn’t enough, he made 19 NBA all star teams and 15 all NBA teams. To add to this, he made the NBA all defensive teams 11 times. He also shot 55.9% from the field which would rank 18th all time. He is also 3rd in most rebounds of all time with 17,440. (2/7)
In the playoffs he averaged a double-double with 24.3 ppg and 10.5 rpg. His rookie year he averaged ~29 ppg and ~17 rpg in the playoffs. He also averaged 2.4 bpg in his career during the postseason. He not only has some of the best regular seasons stats but also postseason. (3/7)
To say he didn’t play true competition is foolish. He played against the likes of Julius Erving, Elvin Hayes, Bob McAdoo, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, and many other greats during the 70s and 80s. (4/7)
Pat Riley, one of the best coaches ever, who coached Kareem in LA said about him, “When a man has broken records, won championships, endured tremendous criticism and responsibility, why judge? Lets toast him as the greatest player ever”. (5/7)
In this thread, I didn’t even display his sheer dominance when it came to NCAA ball. To keep it short, he had 3 NCAA player of the year awards and won 3 NCAA championships. He also has the “Best Center in the NBA” award named after him. (6/7)
As seen in this thread, Kareem doesn’t get the respect he deserves as he should be talked about as a top 3 NBA player of all time at the MINIMUM. He is up there with the likes of Lebron and MJ when it comes to the GOAT conversation. #NBATwitter
