this is gonna be a thread of me trying to eat intuitively:) pls don’t use this as an info guide to use for your own eating or smth.. i have no education in nutrition. i just research online and go to therapy for my ed lol
also if you ever attempt this.. do research. and as a general rule,, if you’re starving yourself you should Not jump into intuitive eating bc your body will send you into reactive eating which will probably make you feel a lot of guilt and then starve yourself even more.
and if you suffer from binge eating you shouldn’t jump into intuitive eating bc your hormon levels and hunger cues are way off. im trying this bc ive ate mechanically/routinely for three weeks now and i think my body trusts me to give it food? i might fail miserably tho so!!
may 8th
ok so this is my first meal today:) its 2 pm but i woke up late, went to therapy and then had an energy drink which probably confused my body. also i ate a Lot this weekend so i wasn’t hungry yet. but then i got hungry:) this is a crispbread w avocado. and also a kiwi:)
that meal took me an hour to finish omg? i felt satisfied after the kiwi and half the crispbread and i also was writing down the intuitive eating guilde lines i found online to hang on my wall. but then i finished it hehe and now im gonna go for a walk
4 pm snack :)) a carrot w hummus
pasta for dinner @ 5.30 pm yum
yogurt parfait @ 9.30 pm :)) i love. is this a supper is it a dessert no one will know
im done for today and i realize i didn’t eat a lot but. i ate what my body told me to eat. maybe got a little too excited that my body wasn’t asking for much but i don’t think it influenced how much i ate:) idk its a learning process. gonna keep this thread going for some days
good morning im eating a banana @ 9 and she’s brown and old but don’t judge her she’s got more nutrition than your green bananas ever did
dinner leftovers from yesterday:) 11 am. also some nuts n raisins that i will probably snack on until i go home from school
