Found this little limulus lady, who battled the surf zone and lost. But all was not lost!

And she’s not so little. She’s the size of a very large dinner plate across, and I’ll wager she weighs 8- 9 pounds, which I carried for 3/4 of a km up to the tidal river...

3/ I gently put her in. Don’t want to damage those tail ligaments. Can she turn herself over?

4/ And then! Not 10 seconds later, I was mightily rewarded!
