A THREAD about the virus outbreak in itaewon club and about what happened to some idols.

seeing people arguing about this makes me want to know what’s really happening. so here i gathered the important information from many source with prove.

let’s start about what’s going on about the club.
so there’s a man who visited several club located in itaewon are positive with corona.

here’s the timeline
May 1 - May 2 = A man with his friend went to a several clubs in itaewon.
May 7 = The man tested positive for Covid-19

his friend who came with him is also tested positive.

Due to the fact that Korea was still under strict social distancing rules until May 6 is one of the reasons why it is a problem.

They are planning to relax the social distancing rules because the reduce of the case of covid-19.

But yet, the man went to the club in May 1 - May 2

And the main problem is that this may lead to the virus outbreak. and some says it may be bigger than the case in daegu.

In 24 hours, there are 18 new cases of covid-19 and 17 of them are linked to the “man”.

And there are over 1900 people were estimated to visited the club.

Because of that the officials have urged that all of people who visited any club in itaewon between 29 April - May 6 is refrain from going outside.

Because maybe they get infected, but they haven’t show any symptoms. So the virus wont spread any further

Now, let’s talk about Mino Winner “case”
Dispatch released several photos of Mino showing him singing while a DJ accompany him.
And so, there are lots of article saying that Mino is performing in a club during this pandemic.
He is getting criticized because of this.

People are mad not becuase of the clubbing but because the time is not right.

Within this pandemic, social distancing is the important things to do.

So he was being criticized by being ignorant.

And then YG apologies.
And will ask Mino to carefully follow the social distancing.

BUT! Then the truth comes out.
The place that Mino visited are NOT a club.
It’s actually a guest house that have 5 floor.
The first 4 floors are used for guest accomodation.
And the 5th flooe is a “house club”

The people who are allowed to come is only the guest staying there.

And it also said that this guest house is applying a strict regulation for thise who come to this guest house.

They are inly allowed to come after using hand sanitizer, getting temperature checked, and using a mask. Also, they write all of the visitors name.

Fand understand that gathering of people during this period is also a violation of the social distancing rules, but the fact that dispatch exaggerating the truth is causing Mino look loke a “criminal” spreading the virus.

So fans are demanding dipatch to apologies because they’re not delivering the truth.
And dispatch should clarified the truth, due to the fact that Mino didn’t go to the club as they said.

Now about the 97 Lines “case”

Dispatch are stating that Jungkook, Mingyu, Cha Eun Woo, and Jaehyun went to a restaurant on the evening of April 25 and continue to go to 2 bars/club (all kpop says bar, soompi says it was a club).

Bighit and SM also stating that they went to a bar. ya

The main problem connected to the Man that i explained in the previous tweet.

Because of the posibility of the virus outbreak in that club, officials urged people who visited any bars or clubs located in taewon to not going outside from April 29 - May 6 and do a screening test.

Because the symptoms are likely to show up later, they may infected by the virus and spreading to others.

So everyone who went to the bars/clubs around itaewon are asked to not go outside and do a screening test.

And four of them did the test, as said on their entertainment official statement.

Jungkook, Jaehyun, Eun woo, and Mingyu tested negative.

They went there before the “Virus Outbreak in Itaewon Club happening”

They want to a bar on April 25-26.
When the outbreak happened is around 1 May.
And it that first case was known at 7 May.
So before 7 May people don’t know about this “chain”

Lots of people that live in Korea says that in Korea is not really strict with the social distancing. Shop and caffe are open.

They tend to do normal activities but still stay aware.

But at the same time, Korea still do social distancing until May 6.

Due to this fact, it’s kinda pro and contra.

But this is not the main problem.

Everyone who visited clubs/bars located in itaewon between April 24 - May 6 are not allowed going outside for 14 days. Because the virus can stay dormant for u to 14 days.

Jungkook, Eun Woo, Jaehyun, and Mingyu are supposed to stay home until 10th May.

But Eun woo went to all ASTRO comeback in May 7 and he went to music bank at May 8.

And jaehyun also MC’ed for Inkigayo on May 10.

That’s where the problem is, people are mad not because of they went to bar. But due to the fact that they didn’t do as the official ask.

And today all of their entertainment released an official statement due to this case. I’ll attached it after this tweet.
