Please @SouthamptonCC have you got beyond just "actively looking" to bring forward some of your existing plans and actually done anything yet?
It feels to me that we have lost the roads to drivers again.
We actually need actual action.
We need BIG actual action.

Start by closing Palmerston Road, New Road, Pound Tree, Queensway and Portland Terrace to make the city centre properly accessible.
Then make local shopping areas safe.
St Mary's Street, Bedford Place, Swaythling High Road, Portswood and more need liberation from car domination.
