I wrote it with @daphnerubinvega, and I remember Daphne telling me one day she'd landed a role in a small musical. She was excited about it and I told her it sounded interesting.

Perhaps the absolute highlight of my music career (and life) is engineering and playing keys on The Poem with Bobby Konders. It went on to become a deep house classic, played at underground NYC parties during house music's heyday.
