fuck, i love video game music, gonna attempt this. (I'm also gonna do Hard Mode because i fucking love video game music)

Day 1: A perfect title theme would be one from a game I'm looking forward to be playing (hopefully to completion this time) again, Xenoblade Chronicles.

A beautiful piano + orchestra piece, it sets the perfect tone for a long-ass JRPG experience.

Day 2: Fossil Falls from Mario Odyssey! Yes, this doesn't sorta count as its the 2nd level, BUT, its the first major level due to the fact that its theme is the actual game's theme (and credits theme too), among other reasons. So I'm bending the rules.

Day 3: Literally any song from the NES era of the Mega Man series will fit this category, but Proto Man's theme is my personal pick. Sadly, the song is cut short in the full game itself, but check the full song here down in the link below!

Day 4: Welp, when I think of console exclusive, i tend to step away from my Nintendo comfort zone for another company. In this case, here's a really good song from a PlayStation exclusive series known as Ratchet & Clank, which I grew up with.

Day 5: As much as Princess Peach has a good hub world, Rosalina 1-Ups her (no innuendo intended) with a fucking masterpiece of a tune. (PS: Rosalina is obviously the #1 Mario waifu)

Day 6: Since I laid upon my eyes on the world of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, the Explorers set of games has cherished me with a relaxing song that I can't go without mentioning. It brings back so many memories. (Explorers of Sky is GOAT imo)

Day 7: #DDLC has one of the best indie game OSTs out there, and the Confession music is my absolute favourite. And just so we're clear, it is NOT Sayori's theme, imo. It is, in MY opinion, Yuri's theme. (Please play the Just Yuri mod, PLEASE.)

Day 8: I don't like shooters. I also ain't into Splatoon. But here's a song from that game but also Tainted Love.

Day 9: I haven't played that many licensed games in my life, but The Simpsons: Hit & Run is definitely my favourite of them all. The soundtrack for that game, gives the world a similar feeling to that of the actual show it's based upon. Very top notch.

Day 10: Final Fantasy! Oops, i mean, FINALLY, I get to talk about how fucking great the franchise is when it comes to its music. Of course, since today's category is RPG battle music, I'll share my fav FF regular battle theme, from Final Fantasy 10.

Day 11: Welp, can't think of any other puzzle game that has good OST (besides Professor Layton) besides Tetris.

But fuck you, Phoenix Wright tests your human mind, and that has a better OST than Tetris.

Day 12: Chrono Trigger is one of the best JRPGs out there, and the DS port has a very beautiful post-ending credits theme that...actually makes me tear up. The saddest part? Not many people know of this song. So here you go, and have some tissues ready...
