Inspired by @TheBenNatan, I’m going to start my own quarantine movie thread here.

Just finished THE FAREWELL, what a fantastic film. Writing/directing from Lulu Wang was beautiful. Probably the most overlooked film from last year’s awards season. And holy sh*t does Awkwafina have range as an actress. Let’s get her in more stuff immediately.
LOCKOUT - Did a late-night, semi-intoxicated Netflix party watch of this last night. Ridiculously stupid, but pretty fun, movie.
ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE - Solid romcom with a touching ending. Ali Wong and Randall Park are excellent and a great on-screen couple. But the scene-stealing crown belongs to Keanu Reeves (obviously).
Loved Issa and Kumail, who are funny and delightful, but THE LOVEBIRDS as a whole was a little too paint-by-numbers, plodding, and predictable. Was hoping for a bit more here.
Denis Villeneuve has quickly become one of my favorite directors, so I finally watched ENEMY, one of his earlier works. Gyllenhaal is fantastic and the direction is tight, giving this small scale thriller plenty of tension and ... weird twists.
GOOD TIME - Holy hell, what a film. Pattinson is incredible in this non-stop fever dream of a crime drama/thriller. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for even a second. I hate myself for taking so long to see this.
