This is my big news going into a weekend of trying to write #20kin5Days! Am off to a slow start, but hoping to build momentum. https://twitter.com/TGStoneButch/status/1261238995964448774
I had hoped to do another sprint or two before bed but I couldn't manage it. Thus far my wordcount for #20Kin5Days is 1239 words. I'm not doing this challenge traditionally, but am working on multiple projects. Today I worked on my only one bed project & my pesach romance.
A slow start, but much of my day was eaten by other things, so I'm hopeful that I might still make a whole lot more words in the next four days of #20kIn5Days. We will see how it goes. It's nice to be in the same boat as a bunch of other folks, trying this.
Wow today was a bust for me in terms of #20kin5Days. I was hit by intense fatigue & slept through most of the day. I did finally do a long sprint at the end of the day in my only one bed story & wound up with 956 words. Not sure I can get to 20k at this point, but not giving up.
Hit 1210 words today, bringing my total words for #20kin5Days to 6063. One more day to go, and it's pretty clear I won't hit 20k. I may come close to 10k, which would be awesome. & I definitely have movement on a story that had been stuck for a while, so I'm very glad about that.
I am ready to call it for the day. I wrote 786 words, & I do not have more in me. So this brings my grand total for #20kin5DaysMay to 6849 new words. I mostly worked on #AWeekWithWolf, my only one bed story & my wordcount for that is currently 13136, which I will take, gladly.
I dug my characters into a hole, & dug them part of the way out, before making a new hole, & now they have a mess to contend with, right on schedule. It will all bring them closer together, but right now I'm depleted & cannot write more angst, so I need to put this down.
I'm hoping that some rest will help, & I can reapproach the story once I've gotten some. Writing almost 7k in 5 days is a lot more than I usually do, & a break might be a good idea. I will see how things feel tomorrow.
