Jokes aside, this isn’t just a NYT issue — tons (most?) of the coverage about young people and coronavirus are about upper-middle-class college students returning home to their parents. It would be great to hear a broader range of stories about college students + young adults.
If you’ve seen great coverage of 20-somethings, send it my way! I know that some of my peers are doing incredible things to support their family, or serve in healthcare, or create movements online — I’d love to read their stories.
