Ep 1) The intro was lovely! Also this first scene feels like it’s an attack straight at me. Addressing my worse fears already! :D
So this first song and real setting does a good job of showing how lonely Rei is. Besides the busy streets, he walks alone with a blank face.

I’m really liking the aesthetic of this anime so far. The first scene, which took place during day help set a mood that made Rei seem distant from the rest of the world, while this one takes play during dust/night and now he’s the only person we see.
