But we know there has to be more new music with all the amazing things @BoulangerInitia and the District New Music Coalition are doing.
Pass the Word Radio believes new music is happening everywhere. Our mission is to spotlight new/contemporary classical music in all 50 states and territories in the USA. We hope by highlighting this vibrancy we create cohesion and awareness within the new music community.
Pass the Word Radio wants to talk with individuals and groups across the musical spectrum (i.e. composers, musicians, administrators, ensembles, musicologists, music journalists, organizations, etc) about the work they are doing in their individual communities.
Pass the Word Radio is only accepting submissions from people, organizations, etc who currently reside in the USA. Additionally, we strongly encourage people based outside of NYC, Chicago, or LA to apply.
You can follow @passthewordusa.
