Lol

The stuff on the wall, not worried about. The tile? I should clean it right away but it will drop off
No product. Just a sponge. Little sale and pepper grout but it will probably come out? If not I have like 30 lbs of grout haha. Also, hot tips for Satanist
Welp, dipped my brush 3 times and thatās done. Now to hit the rest of the trim. Hard to tell but it is grey haha
Perfect! Just kidden. Think Iāll paint the walls now.
We may not have rollers. Which means Iām going to wait for @Lowes to get my shit together.
I canāt wait for the people that never come over to say āhow creative!ā When they see the bathroom.
Started this too. Going to let it dry while I run to the store. Obviously thereās a problem with that little drippy cuz so I sanded that out and will repaint. The spray paint over spray, should be fine.
Apparently you have to scan your ID with a gift card at Home Depot. Iām not even really sure whoās ID itās associate with.
Hey @HomeDepot the people, including the manager are extraordinarily rude at the 4028 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lilburn, GA 30047, the manager of the store came over to me and I started with ācan you be niceā which he said he could not. @wsbtv like is this normal

I mean @HomeDepot I understand fraud prevention but I donāt understand being rude to people for no reason. Like being extra rude is a little odd. Like did I personally embarrass your entire company haha
Pulled the shower curtain rod out and will probably have to get a temp one because the one from amazon is taking a week and a half at minimum. Itās original to the house and mounted with screws. Found some interesting wall paper.
This is the part where we fast forward and the holes are patched and I wait for them to dry while waiting to sand down the patch stuff before painting.
Started sanding, paper got clogged so I washed it and am now waiting for it to āspeed dryā while cooking spaghetti because I havenāt eaten today.
Got one coat of paint of this. Also got to the door and realized that I didnāt take the last towel rod off, took care of that and patched it. Sanded this paint drip down but itās still kind of sanding out. Out of sand paper at the moment so it has to wait but the switch is great.
Painting, is hard work and it seems super hot in the bathroom.
Getting there
Kind of like the white trim but I fucked it up already so I guess I have to paint it.
The stuff from Loweās did change status to say āarrived at storeā so thatās cool. I didnāt realize they where shipping it and I think the guy in their call center that the same thing. Maybe it will ready tomorrow. Which kind of works out anyway.
Well did a final touch up on the walls then to trim and put shit back together and hopefully get the hardware and finish up the cabinets. Be sure that missing spots and drips will be a 5 year battle that sounds constructive and fun. Because Iām 50 years old. Toilet tank removal?
Iāll start taping up for trim in like an hour or two. Pretty sure I have enough paint for it but may buy another quart tomorrow anyway.
I bought this cool grate cover but instead of measuring I thought it would be find to say āthis one at Loweās looks the same so it must be the same sizeā and itās about two inches too large :(
They also donāt have the same on in the right size. They have this that has a wall register in the photo but says floor register. Which seems kind of tricky. Itās also the wrong color but I could paint it.
Or I could get this pattern in the finish that matches thatās the same size and be done with it haha

Now to tape the ceiling. I bought a ton of tape but not much sand paper. Which is really annoying because the sand paper is important. Also 95% sure I need more cyber grey but itās like right on the edge! Need to repaint the windows anyway though.
This toilet worked fine the 3 times I flushed it last night and once this morning but just now it started hissing. I took the valve off and reseated going to check again but my assumption is that this valve, that wasnāt touched in the removal process has mysteriously gone bad.
Nice. Tim the tool man over here.
My aunt is contentiously amazed that basic home repair is within my grasp. The entire internet exists and Iāve been living on my own since 18.
Iām pretty sure I have enough paint for the second coat of trim but Iād like to paint this window frame too. I think. I donāt know, debating on spending the 20 bucks for a second small can of cyberspace or whatever this color is. Lowes, please?
Well, I have this much of the darker left and I want to paint the window in my room and possibly the door. I donāt know whatās up with Loweās so I bought some sand paper too for āantiquingā the cabinets.
The guy forgot to ring out my sandpaper which I noticed when realizing how much the can of paint was and at first thought maybe it was on sale. Just as well because I grabbed the fine out of the medium box and grabbed the right one. I mean, itās really no rush on the hardware.
Might put some clear on these. We have some spray clear but Iām not sure about it so Iāll paint the backs, test and then decide on it. Like the finish though.
On this one, itās almost, as if, the paint isnāt dry haha but given the finish type, itās not really an issue ...
These look pretty cool. Did a quick wet sand with Diet Coke. I guess thatās a Ron Swanson thing to do. Going to paint the back and then test the spray varnish and they should hopefully be good to go with that and put them back on the vanity. Still have the drawers to do.
In a shocking revelation, stick with me hear if youāve got 5 min of focus, it takes more paint to cover white, using a dark color, than black.
This is what we have for like a top coat. The shit on my hand is the stuff on the left. Personally I liked the high sheen look they had when I rinsed the dust off so I think Iāll grab some high gloss varnish of some sort.
Lol so I thought about getting a can, decided to get Krylon clear glaze that they said they had in stock and didnāt and ended up with this. Also, Walmart
Lol twitter doesnāt like this photo for some reason so I took a picture of a picture of what I had in line ->? ^
The dude in front me had a dollar sign on his neck habaha
Added some paint to the one on the end but they look really cool. Should dry soon and then Iāll do another coat. I vastly over estimated the amount of clear I would need while creeping around Walmart

In addition, Iām not sure this is ābathroom paintā but I donāt know how that works so Iāll try to not get it wet haha
Lol so, since a mysterious figure appeared in the wall patch. Iām once again sanding and repainting. Also the drop stood out. Used steel wool, seems mostly smooth. Better than it was and idiot free
I bought this as a liner. Obviously. Yifely Vintage Peony Floral Shelving Paper Dark Yellow Peel & Stick Shelf Liner Dresser Drawer Sticker 17.7 Inch by 9.8 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7MQRT1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4TSWEb7MZ9X5A
Honestly, I probably should purchased a can of varnish but I was thinking the spray was faster drying. I tried to fuck up the spray just a little. No idea what it will turn out like but I think it should be good. Affixing the doors shortly and then going to Loweās with the aunt.
When your like āI need to paint these screwed since thereās a bag of them missing. Better leave them in a puddle of water overnight on the plastic you painted them on to make sure it looks authenticā haha
So, the new screws are slightly smaller than the old screws and Iām for sure going to have to use wood filler in them to make sure the screws hold. But the cabinet looks great.
All right, while the wood fillers drying, Iām going to get breakfast and should maybe feel bad about because Iām chubby and out of work but I donāt feel bad about it because I work my butt off to try and stay in shape and have done a lot in the past year or so.
Iām going to give this wood putty a little longer you dry and start installing the hardware. Visually it makes a big difference in the entire presentation. We changed out the light fixture a while back so itās chrome and doesnāt match the new stuff perfectly but thatās fine.
So these things are kind of tricky and mount with a clean look. They have a tapered Allen head inside that mounts a bracket mounted to the wall. This one took about 15 mins and I had to back out the screw on the bracket to it get it to mount correctly. Pros are probably aware $$
Well thatās installed and I think Iām figuring out how this works. Obviously will still have to clean up this giant mess in the aftermath but Iām pretty sure I can manage it. For better or worse lol ok
Changed the position of this. Didnāt like where it was before. Is it too close to an electrical outlet to not be dangerous? Possibly. I did order a new light switch cover and will repaint the grey around this one and do a similar mat black, sand and gloss on a copper base.
