At 650ish followers I realized...

Twitter is a game. And once you learn how to play it.

You& #39;ll see the results.

A thread of everything I know about the Twitter game.

#1 Socialize

Humans are social animals. And Twitter is a social app.

Whenever you come to Twitter. Like, comment, RT and Quote others.

- Provide value
- Wish somebody a good day
- Tell your experience

Everything needs to genuine.

People can feel when you& #39;re faking it.
#2 Your engagement depends on the topics you talk about.

Here are a few takeaways:
- Actionable advice will 95% get ignored.
- Platitudes are your best friend.
- Controversial topics will boost your engagement.

Use these and you& #39;ll be ahead of 95% people on Twitter.
#3 Engagement groups (EG)

I& #39;m in a few EG.

And if you& #39;re under 200 I highly recommend them.

But it& #39;s not a long-term strategy. You want loyal followers.

After you hit that 200 millstone. Focus on building an engaged following.
#4 Scheduling tweets

Yes, it& #39;s a time saver. It tweets even when you& #39;re doing other things.

But...

Tweets send from my phone (directly), get better engagement.

Twitter values your time and effort you put into tweeting.

So I use a mix of both (scheduled & direct tweets)
#5 Create lists

If you don& #39;t use lists... you& #39;re missing out.

Create a PRIVATE list and add people from Money Twitter.

Engage with these tweets every time you open Twitter app.

Note: Make sure it& #39;s private or everybody will get a notification you added them.
#6 Always be testing

Don& #39;t be afraid to experiment with:

+ New tweet formats
+ Tweet topics
+ Your bio
+ Your header

Test. Optimize. Repeat.
#7 Don& #39;t promote bad products

Reputation is hard to achieve.

But you can lose it in seconds.

My advice: Only promote products you 100% believe in. Don& #39;t promote products you haven& #39;t bought.
I& #39;ve bought plenty of products, and for Twitter & #39;& #39;success& #39;& #39;

You only need 2.
