this goes back to my 5sos days but I am endlessly fascinated by the different trajectories celebrities lives take. they are human (duh) and like everyone else but by very definition of their status they are also living lives that are fundamentally not relatable to
the majority of people. it's so interesting to me to read the lyrics of my time and to hear (in this case) bts talk about how fame has taken its toll. jin and how he has not changed but his friendships have and acknowledging how disappointing and sad
yet almost unavoidable? it is that people don't see him as jin but as bts singer seokjin. or jungkook growing up in that bubble where he has experienced so much more than most people could dream of but he is still filled with wonder and an almost alien like sense of
interest in what every day people do. I think it is so interesting and it makes me sad for them that they can't know ""normal"" and I know these men are adults but I also want to protect them from people who seek to dehumanize them and seek them out only for their own profit
celebrities are people and it by turns infuriates and disheartens me that the public can forget that. idk what this is or if it's even coherent but I love bts and the constant loop of what if, the flip side, the grass is always greener is so goddamn intriguing to me
