love lessons

so the first thing i wanna discuss on this thread is what my last ex taught me because for me its the most valuable thing i ever learnt.

she never actually loved me, despite thinking for a while that she did and throughout the time we were together she always made me feel loved. there wasnt a night i went to bed and didnt feel loved.

and it was tough when she realised she didnt but it taught me that if she, a person who was not in love with me, could make me feel loved every single day, then why didnt the people who claimed they loved me make me feel that way?

she taught me not to settle because i deserve more than what i was used to. she taught me that sex isnt a big deal in a relationship and thati shouldnt just give in because the other person wants me to.

she was patient and understanding and even though it hurt when we broke up, i will forever be thankful to her for teaching me that i deserve respect and love. that will stick with me forever.
