Thread
Due to the outbreak of #COVID19, the @ETSInsights have worked hard to meet the needs of students who are unable to take the GRE General test at a test center due to public health concerns.

This has led them to implement an alternative arrangement that still allows for the...
... identical test in content, format and on-screen experience to the GRE General test taken at a test center. According to @ETSInsights, It is taken on your own computer at home and is monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU®.

Let me share details on eligibility.
To be eligible, you need to satisfy three criteria:

1. The test must be offered in your country or location. @ETSInsights has made sure that the test is available everywhere that GRE General test is normally available, with the exception of Mainland China and Iran.
2. You need to have access to a computer that meets testing requirements. You must also install ETS Broswer via https://ibt2-cdn.ets.org/SoftwareDistribution/rp/UnifyRPInstaller/0.1/UnifyRPInstaller_PROD.exe, and the ProctorU Systems Check via https://test-it-out.proctoru.com/

3. According to @ETSInsights, You must have a room that provides an acceptable environment for the test. This includes information on:

- Privacy,
- Tabletop and seating,
- Clothing and appearance,
- Note-taking Materials

According to @ETSInsights, The Home GRE test fee is the same as if you are taking it from a Testing Center. It depends on where you plan to take the test.
