Sometimes being a woman on the internet is exhausting

I'm so incredibly grateful for the support and the kind people and messages I get, but dealing with this shit sucks. We're always told to ignore it but some of the stuff I get is so sexually disgusting I can't even post it here

And then we're always told not to talk about it and not to bring attention to it, so we just have to read this horrible stuff and deal with it in silence.

When I dealt with a huge gender pay gap issue in my past job I was told not to talk about it incase there were bad repurcussions, when I get these kind of messages I'm told to ignore them and not discuss it. It's frustrating that the advice is always just to shut up essentially

To make it very clear I do not think "all men are trash". These are just a few select assholes that think it's okay to do this. But it's draining, it's degrading and I hate it

ANYWAY I already feel weird about posting this ahhhh. I'm gonna have some dinner and then stream so live at 5.30pm! (sorry I keep pushing it back waaah)
