As someone who knows a little (and I mean just a little - it& #39;s a vast subject) bit of church history, it is funny to me seeing people whose doctrinal views have existed for < 100 years calling others "progressive."

In other news, I see Reformed Protestants from time to time boasting about their traditions and history, and decrying "biblicism."

I guess the point of this thread is: don& #39;t criticize doctrinal views with ad hominem/red herrings by labeling it in a way you think is negative.
Actually take time to understand what a doctrine teaches. Then, if it is faulty, critique the faults specifically.
