I started this account a month ago.

I was a complete noob.

Yet I studied and analyzed the game everyday.

I've been engaging a lot in sales and marketing content lately.

As a result I've come now to share my knowledge with all of you.

TWITTER MARKETING - THE THREAD! 🤑
1 - The first AND MOST IMPORTANT LESSON!

Don't sell sh*t.

Wanna know why people hate marketers?

Because a lot of them are unethical.

It's absolutely mandatory that you only sell or promote products that are of high quality and that have shown results consistently.
2 - Don't be money hungry.

When you're money hungry, you'll always show desperation in some way.

Desperation is a turn-off.

I know, I know.

All of us want to make that sweet green, but remember, the main goal is to provide a solution to your client.

Money's just a bonus.
3 - Imposter syndrome.

This one is a lot easier when you follow the first rule.

Here's the reality...

You have to convince people to buy, that's just how the marketing game works.

I used to feel bad about it, I don't anymore.

Because I follow rule number 1.
4 - Persuade

Here's another reality.

You have to use persuasion.

If you follow rule number 1, that's totally okay.

Because you'll persuade people to buy things that will actually help them!

But remember, if you want to make money, you have to play by the rules of the game.
5 - Use the bait!

Find ways to make people come to you.

Instead of you going to them.

It will be a lot easier to sell to someone who's already curious.
6 - Forget the "I", focus on the "You!"

Listen, people don't give two Fs about what you did or do.

All they care about is knowing how the product can fix their problems.

That's it, nothing less, nothing more.

So show them how!

"But how do I do that Path?"
7 - Credibility.

I highly recommend that you build your credibility first before you try to sell to other people.

I know I know, there's quick money to be made from aff marketing.

But everything will be so much easier when you've built a name for yourself.
8 - Social Proof and Results.

Use them.

It convinces people, and that's what you're trying to do.

You're trying to convince them that the product you're selling will fix their problems.

Remember, persuasion is key.
9) Final notes.

All in all, the best rule to live by when it comes to marketing is rule number 1.

And remember, if you want to sell, you have to play the marketing game.

You have to persuade and influence.

And that's totally not evil when you follow rule number 1.
