There have been a lot of misconception about the Igbo folks.
As a Yoruba boy who jas mixed with Igbos, dated few Igbo Queens and have been to the East countless times.

I'll say most of these talks are just mere perception and hasty generalization borne out of one person's action

A lot of people believe that an Igbo man would not blink twice before he uses his mother for money ritual because that's what most of the Igbo Nollywood portrays.

FALSE.

That successful Igbo man that you think did money ritual actually took risks that you wouldn't dare.

The Igbo culture places so much importance on money, especially being a man, you must be able to take very good care of your wife.

As such, every average Igbo man believe in making money first before getting married.

This explains why a lot of Igbo men marry "late".
