Ok BTS Butterfly AU master thread here we go!!
This is an OT7 fantasy AU. Feel free to rt!

Character Lineup

Taehyung- A beautiful and devilish boy king who became king after the assassination of his parents. He hates everything about being the ruler of the kingdom and would rather spend days on end playing his lyre.

Hoseok- a spy/informant, a street urchin who lives off of selling information He is mostly underground and almost always in disguise. Most people don't know his appearance and many actually think he's a woman. He is nicknamed The Mirage because he is like a shapeshifter.

Jungkook-the newly appointed stone faced foreign bodyguard of the king Taehyung. He hails from a neighbouring town of iron miners that Taehyung's father conquered during his reign.

Jimin- Taehyung's personal consort, the one he is at most vulnerable with. He is deeply in love with the king but with no emotional reciprocation, which hurts him.

Namjoon- a scholar at the palace. He is the son of the prime minister who was taken in as a ward of the palace due to his merit, by Taehyung's father. The two boys grew up almost like brothers. He is the one Taehyung respects most.

Seokjin- a metalsmith who supplies weapons to the royal armory. He is also a friend of Jimin's, and the one who listens to him cry about his unrequited love. He is a strict man, but loves just as deeply.

Yoongi- a spice merchant. He does not trust the government and thinks a revolution is long due. He has known Hoseok since their childhood and is one of the latter's only friends growing up.
