Women who cruelly cut down other women tend to be covetuous, defensive and resentful of others success. I can gladly say I have never had to attack the professional reputation of female colleagues or subject them to incivility behind their back in order to rise up. 1/2

I don’t like women who criticise other women for no reason at all. I don’t like women who make their unwarranted dislike for their colleagues public, in turn damaging their professional reputation. I don’t like women who gossip about other women.

I have watched an entire department of female teachers bully a new teacher who doesn’t fit in. Their pack behaviour leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Do I regret challenging them about their conduct? No. Am I glad to be leaving a toxic department? Yes. But mostly I am disappointed
