Beef in Vedas( Refutation of an article by The Telegraph)

An article by The Telegraph recently posted online by some claims that there was beef eating in Vedic times, However article gives no reference to texts.
First is accusation on great Maharishi Yajnavalkya that he used to eat Beef, this is a very Famous and mistranslated verse from Shatpath
There is no mention of Beef there, Yajnavalkya says "अहम् अंसलम् चेद् भवति इति" the word used here is "amsal" which means "One that gives strength"
Panini's Ashtadhyayi(5.2.98) too says the same, amsal means one that gives strength which here refers to milk and grains NOT Beef.
If you look at Acharya Sayanas bhashya he too says the same thing, so this accusation is totally wrong and it shows that translator is unaware of Sanskrit.
The problem is people don't know how things are expressed in Sanskrit, for example-

If I say in Hindi "गाड़ी चल रही है" and someone translates it to "Car is walking" he will be called an idiot
similarly if I say "गाड़ी आ गई" and someone says
गाड़ी = Car, आ= Come, गई = went "Car came and went" but that's not what I ment.
Hence when translators are unaware of way of expressions in a language they do such stupid translations.
Next claim about Madhuparka that cow was killed in Madhuparka and only later at time of Vyasa cow became symbolic, This is totally false,
Grih Sutras nowhere mentions killing of Cows, madhupark was made up of honey, curd, jaggery or milk, sometimes even "Kheer" was used but killing of cows is not mentioned anywhere.
donation of cows is mentioned and it is also mentioned that a person takes sword and Vows to protect that Cow, in further verses Cow is called Mother of Rudras and sustains vasus,
Hence killing of cow is not mentioned byt rather protection.
In one place it is written that Indra demanded 10-15 cooked Oxens, but no reference is given, and I challenge them to show any verse where it is written.
In conclusion there is no mention of Beef eating in any Vedic texts, translators who don't understand sanskrit are the one responsible for this, Hindus should reject all such translations.
