What a big mood to be tired of westerners' bullshit and their entirely wrong perception of south/eastern europe (balkans specifically)

It's just frustrating to see a majority of western world portraying your country, your entire region, as something it isn't. -

People from Balkans see that every day, live through it daily and are potrayed to the entire western world as being some hostile jungle full of rabid terrorists who desperately need American merciful hand to guide them to the civilization. -

Just like the Middle East, Asian countries, African countries, literally any region other than USA, Canada and UK.

The majority of these oh-so-smart history experts do not even know where a country is located, or how to spell it's name, or to address it's people with dignity. -

USA, specifically, has funded endless wars to ruin countries from Balkans to Africa to Asia with their "peace-bringing" military actions. No western media shows how many people died, how many culturally significant properties were ruined, how much we suffered. -

And all that was done in the name of "peace" and "fight against evil" was, and still is, only done for the westerners' imperialist goals of having as many regions to leech off as possible.

When wars are fought, no side is just good or evil. -

My homeland was in war too. Our parents know. Wars are ugly. Crimes. Victims on both sides. And when you think it can't be worse, an imperialist force that literally has nothing to do with it comes along to decide who is to blame, whose civilians to kill to maintain "peace". -

What is evil in a war? Who are you? Are you god? Are you a judge? who gives you the right to decide who is evil and who is good when you don't know people, circumstances, anything?

We know for a fact, that humans don't matter. Lives don't matter. Only economic power does. -

That is how it is in a world ruled by imperialist, capitalist pigs, where one country that has money dictates everyone else.

So if New York Times and other propaganda is the only source of information you have about us, please stay silent and don't make a fool out of yourself.

Apologies for a non-art thread on an art account. To all my mutuals and friends again, this is not hate towards you. You're great no matter where you come from, you're better than that.
