Let's talk social housing:

Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms, many of which look like the third photo, with lots of open space, and a total of 240 bedrooms.

You could put 500 people up in the established bedrooms alone, how many bunk beds could you get in those drawing rooms?
I reckon if you repurposed Buckingham Palace into communal social housing (kinda like some guardianships) you could get 800-1000 people comfortably living in there; maybe more.

In one building, you could reduce Britain's rough sleeping population by 4%.
Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham has 350 rooms. Some of these rooms are massive I reckon you could definitely get upwards of 1300-1500 people in this estate.
Castle Howard in York has 145 rooms. You redo some of these drawing rooms into bedrooms you could get another 400-500 people in this place. We've now reduced Britain's rough sleeper population by potentially 12.5% - with three buildings.
Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill, in Oxfordshire has 187 rooms. Put some of this furniture in a museum or flog it and how many beds can you get in those rooms in decent conditions?

I reckon you could house potentially 500-600 people.
Longleat is known for its 130 rooms and its own safari! Wow!

Turn it into social housing. You could get dozens of people in each of these massive rooms the size of two or three flats each.

I reckon between 400-500 people.
Chatsworth House has 126 rooms in Derbyshire. I reckon between 300-400 people.
Highclere Castle in West Berkshire has 300 rooms, 61 of which are bedrooms. Could get between 600-800 people in this place.
This is Stonor, which is currently housing Lord and Lady Camoy. No information on the number of rooms but...just look at this place
Chevening Manor, owned by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has 15 bedrooms in it
Going back to the Royal Estate for a minute, Windsor Castle has over 1,000 rooms - so the potential to house upwards of 2,000 people if you turned the vast majority of those rooms into bedrooms
Balmoral Castle has 52 bedrooms and over 50,000 acres of land. Potentially 150-200 people.
It's difficult to find information on her other private residences but how many people do you reckon could comfortably live inside Sandringham House and Palace of Holyroodhouse?
With just 9 buildings, we've housed potentially 7,500 people and thats not even counting how much you could do with their enormous stretches of land. With 9 buildings you could potentially reduce the rough sleeper population by a third.
This isn't even an exhaustive list of all the massive stately homes in Britain, not by a long shot.

Abolish aristocratic titles, abolish peerages, abolish the House of Lords, seize the country homes, house the homeless with them and turn them into communes.
