I'm Ffi, 24, born & living in Wales, UK.
I speak Welsh, I work in a restaurant and I'm married to my partner Steff. We got married in April 2019 and have just celebrated our first wedding anniversary & three years together

We've got two furbabys, a dachshund cross called Loki (brown) who's two and we've had since a pup and we have a Romanian rescue called Cirilla (black) who we got in February.
Prior to Cirilla we used to Foster dogs from Romania and it was amazing.

Some awesome facts about my parents:
▪︎My mum did her degree when she was 43 and is now a mental health nurse before that she was a travel agent and then went to be a builder with my dad. She's incredible.
▪︎My dad (also awesome) owned his own small business.

Continuation of my dad:
▪︎He fought tooth and nail for his business against bigger businesses until he was 48 and then educated himself and started his career progression at 50 and now is in a high paying job for a housing association.

I've also got a sister but for her sake I'll leave her out of this as she likes her privacy.
Some facts from my childhood:
▪︎I attended a Welsh primary & secondary school.
▪︎In primary school I was on 2 dance teams that performed at the @eisteddfod
▪︎In secondary school I auditioned for a Welsh version of a dance competition similar to So You Think You Can Dance.

More facts about my childhood:
▪︎I got through the first round of Dawnstastig is what it was called but failed at the next contemporary dance round.
▪︎I joined a dance academy in my local area called Fantasy Feet Dance academy and tool HipHop classes and some ballet.

▪︎We did a musical Alice in Wonderland where I got to help teach toddlers ballet in preparation.
▪︎We also went to London and performed on Her Magesty's Stage.
▪︎After I stopped dancing I took Tai Kwon Do and got a red/blue belt.

Childhood continued:
▪︎My dad (a building contractor) built our home. A 6 bedroom house, we were poor so he did it all himself.
▪︎My mum helped him whilst taking evening classes and getting her degree.
▪︎My dad read a couple of books & taught us to ride horses. No prev exp.

Teen years:
▪︎I did @CampAmerica69 two years running. First year I was a general counsellor, second year I taught horse riding to kids between the ages of 10-16.
Originally I was too afraid to do it but after a boyfriend dumped me I wanted to get as far away from him as poss

As I'm writing these down for you I feel like I could write an inspirational book about our family and my childhood.
And if all goes well with my studies and career maybe I can write about my adult life too.

Teen years continued:
▪︎Hated doing my A Levels in high school so I left and went to a college.
▪︎I struggled through college and got into university for business studies
▪︎I commuted 40mins/1hr to uni whilst living and working at home
▪︎I dropped out

University take-two:
▪︎I applied for a Hospitality Management degree
▪︎I got a job in Swansea and worked my ass off
▪︎Never did the student life, just worked
▪︎During my placement I met my husband.

University take-two cont:
▪︎We faced some difficulties in the beginning of our relationship because my husband was my supervisor.
▪︎He supported me right the way through uni
▪︎The job I was doing outside of uni promoted me to Assistant Manager.
▪︎I graduated with a 1st.

After uni:
▪︎Me and Steff were already living together.
▪︎He proposed on 14th of May 2018 on a stage infront of the whole resort on a family holiday with his parents.
▪︎Shock to everyone as he never wanted to get married.
▪︎We got married 25th April 2019.

Honeymoon +:
▪︎In laws gifted us our honeymoon in Jamaica for our wedding gift.
▪︎I took a job opening an independent restaurant which I started properly when we got back.
▪︎Six months after starting the job I had a mental health breakdown and spiralled into depression.

The dark bits:
▪︎I quit my job after a health scare. People always told me I stressed my self our and joked about me getting a stomach ulcer and then a doctor shared concern that I had one.
▪︎I decided I couldn't carry on how I was going so I completely shutdown.

▪︎It put a lot of strain on our marriage as I went from shit together #girlboss to homeless looking woman in crisis.

In March I started to feel more like myself and then COVID hit and we moved in with the in-laws
my mental health is still holding up.
