Not sure who needs to hear this. But here goes.

Ten years ago, I was working a dead end job, writing a book in secret and feeling stupid for even bothering, querying agents with no real hope of getting published and shooting a million to one in the dark.

Today I hit the NYT bestseller list for the 5th time straight.

Do not tolerate people who stand in the way of your dream.

Do not let anyone tell you that you are wasting your time.

Do not sleep.

Do not flinch.

Do not take no for an answer.

You only get one life.

You only get one shot.
