There’s nothing more frustrating than someone making a mistake in an article published on a site you write for.

I’m not saying I haven’t made mistakes, but if one writer makes a mistake and one editor doesn’t catch it, it reflects badly on the site and all its writers.
One thing I’ll always say - and I’ve been guilty of not doing it in the past - is take every writer at their own worth. Hold each person accountable, not just the publications.

At the end of the day, we’re all human and mistakes happen, but accuracy is everything in journalism.
In a perfect world for me, people would think of publications as simply a platform, and judge each journalist on their own merits.

Publications, of course, should be held accountable overall - but it’s very frustrating to be affected by something you had no part in.
