Look, white people cannot "decolonize their mentality", white people are the colonizer not the colonized. Their mentality isnt colonized so it cannot be "decolonized".
It's possible I am off base here, but I doubt it. A colonized mentality develops in response to the change of material conditions, namely colonialism. It is something done to the colonized.
Now, I am not trying to say that whites cannot take part in anticolonial struggle. I dont believe that, as Fanon didnt.
What I am saying is that part of the struggle against colonialism is it is in the immediate interests of the colonized, unlike the colonizer, to destroy the colonial relationships.
It is in the long term interests of the colonizer insofar as colonialism is how capitalism is instituted, but initially it really isnt in your interests. If whites are opposing colonialism, they are de facto race traitors.
That's part of the reason you see so many whites repulse against the idea of decolonialism. They know they will have to lose something for us to be free, but what they are missing is that it is a necessary condition to abolishing capitalism.
Reminder: capitalism is exported through imperialism, and instituted through colonialism. You got to fight all three if we are to ever be free.
