Here is a thread of some Undefeatable Queen warriors
1) Rani Keladi Chennamma
Keladi Chennamma was the queen of Keladi Kingdom in Kntaka
During her reign of 25 years, she repelled the advance of the Mughal Army led by Aurangzeb from her military base in the kingdom of Keladi located in Sagara, Karnataka, India.
She provided shelter to Rajaram Chhatrapati, son of Shivaji who was fleeing from the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb after a meeting with her cabinet and treated Rajaram with respect, but Aurangazeb attacked Keladi. Keladi Chennamma fought the war without defeat with Mughals.
2) Rudrama Devi
Rani Rudrama Devi was a monarch of the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau from 1263 until her death.
Despite the antagonism she faced because of her gender, she rose up as one of the greatest warriors of her time.
She drove bck d Yedava King of Devagiri forcing him to finally sign a peace accord. She also introduced a nw policy of recruiting ppl frm d non-aristocratic background as commanders in d army as well as d administration. She also captured important forts Renadu, Eruva Mulikinadu
3) Rani Karnavati of Garhwal
Rani Karnavati of Garhwal Kingdom, also known as Tehri Garhwal, was the wife of Mahipat Shah (or Mahipati Shah), the Rajput king of GarhwalThe capital of Garhwal Kingdom was from Dewalgarh to Srinagar, Uttarakhand.
Rani Karnavati was sharply trained with war tactics. She set a good example Gurrila Warfare during fight with Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. The queen was so known for her ruthless bravery which earned her the title of ‘Nak-Kati-Rani’ which means the queen who cuts the nose.
4) Velu Nachiyar
Rani Velu Nachiyar was a queen of Sivaganga estate . She was the first queen to fight against the British colonial power in India. She is known by Tamils as Veeramangai ("brave woman")
Nachiyar was trained in war match weapons usage, martial arts like Valari, Silambam, horse riding and archery. During this period, she formed an army n sought an alliance with Gopala Nayaker and Hyder Ali with d aim of attacking d British, whom she did successfully fight .
When Velu Nachiyar found the place where the British stored their ammunition, she arranged a suicide attack successfully.Nachiyar was one of the few rulers who regained her kingdom, and ruled it for ten more years.[9] In 1790, the throne was inherited by her daughter Vellacci.
5) Manikarnika
ani Lakshmibai or Jhansi ki Rani, the queen of Jhansi was one of the leading figures of the Rebellion of 1857. For Indian nationalists, she became an icon for the freedom struggle against the British Raj for Indian.
When the British army reached Jhansi, Rani Laxmibai strapped son Damodar Rao on her back and led charge. Holding two swords in both the hands, the queen did not give in and killed several enemy soldiers on her way to the fortress of Kalpi.
After her indefinite fight with British rule on war ground she was nearing her death she sat bleeding by the roadside, she recognised the soldier and fired at him with a pistol, whereupon he dispatched the young lady with his carbine.
6) Kittur ChennammaKittur Chennamma was a rani of the Nayakas of kingdom of Kittur ruled Mallarudra sarja, who were vassals of the Maharaja of Mysore.
She is a famously remembered freedom fighter who led an armed force against the British East India Company in 1824 in defiance of the doctrine of lapse to retain control over her territory, but was defeated in the third war and died in a prison.
She was one of the first female freedom fighters to resist British colonisation, she is a national heroine well known in Carnatica and a symbol of the independence movement in India.
7) Rani Tarabai
She was the queen of Chhatrapati Rajaram Bhosale, daughter-in-law of the empire's founder Shivaji and mother of Shivaji II. She is acclaimed for her role in keeping alive the resistance against Mughal occupation of Maratha territories after death of her spouse
As the regent, she took charge of the war against Aurangzeb's forces. Tarabai was skilled in cavalry movement and made strategic movements herself during wars. She personally led the war and continued the fight against the Mughals.
Jijau
I would rather like the world to know Jijau as – ‘The Mother who nurtured her son to be Shivaji – the founder of Maratha empire’. This is because Jijau’s contribution in the making of Shivaji was enormous.
We really owe the Hindavi Swarajya to Jijau because without her upbringing and the values she inculcated into her child, we could not have got a king, a warrior like Shivaji.
