All the fun I had during my teen years thanks to The Hunger Games - a thread

Let’s kick things off with the Catching Fire world premiere in London on 11/11/13. I begged my parents to take me for months and months. The day finally came and we headed up on the train with the signs we spent hours on
I felt sick with excitement!!

We arrived at Leicester Square around 11:30am and were given our numbers then placed in pens right by the Odeon entrance. We waited there in the rain until 5pm when the premiere kicked off. Shoutout to my parents and cousin for enduring that so I could live my dream

This awesome presenter dude started to get everyone pumped and honestly it was a bop
At one point he came over and tried to read out my sign for Josh but gave up halfway through lol - stay tuned for him cause he reappears many years later...
First we met Stanley Tucci. We were shouting that it was my bday so he’d come over (a lie- I mean, my bday was on the 3rd and attending was my present soooo
) and he was like “omg it’s my birthday too” and we had a laugh. Lying to Caesar Flickerman

also context; my mum was on my left taking pics on my phone and my dad was on my right with our pro camera hence the difference in photo quality
I was in the middle with my book

We met Donald Sutherland, who commented on how freeeeeezing it was. Then came Elizabeth Banks (her poor dress), Laura Haddock and Jena Malone. They were being dragged into the cinema so couldn’t stop but all waved and apologised

Then came Natalie Dormer, @TomFletcher, Johnathon Ross (who signed my Everlark poster lol, and @ninajacobson

Perhaps most surprising of all - and I didn’t realise this until LAST YEAR - was the fact that Meghan Markle was also there. Veryyyyy small world!!
