A huge well done to our signalling and works delivery team who worked round the clock to remove a fire damaged location case near Yoker last week (these house electrical equipment and help control the signals in the area).

This one "Y2/5" controls the points in and out of the west end of @ScotRail’s Yoker Depot, and the signalling on the mainline between Garscadden & Yoker stations. A really key area on the busy North Clyde route.

Here’s the new location almost complete. It involved physically getting the new cabinets to site, cabling them up from the troughing along the track, and terminating all those individual cables in the cabinet. We then tested all of the kit, to ensure it’s safe and ready for use.
