A Muslim family whose house & property was burnt down during Delhi pogrom was taking refuge in Al Hind hospital in Mustafabad. The daughter in the family was to be married on 3rd March to a family based in Ghaziabad. However, the Ghaziabad family broke the nikah..

after learning that the girl& #39;s family has lost all their property and was taking refuge in a hospital. The father of the to be bride was shattered and in that moment, her nephew (a Zomato delivery boy) came forward to marry his daughter.

Me & some of my friends participated in that marriage. The nikah & rukhsati happened in the hospital itself. The other refugees & other people helped and it was perhaps the most beautiful Nikah I had a chance of attending.

Yesterday, Amma (the bride& #39;s mother) called me. She told me that they& #39;re still not able to go back to their house (in Govind Vihar) and are living in a rented flat in Mustafabad itself. They don& #39;t have any source of income. Now the flat owner is asking them to vacate.

Her daughter and son-in-law are also living in the same flat. She said, they were living in a separate house but then they& #39;d have to pay rent of that property as well, so I called them at our place. Now they& #39;re living together but don& #39;t have money to pay rent

And the owner is asking them to vacate. If anyone can arrange a flat in or around Mustafabad for this family and help them financially, it& #39;d be great help. DM me if you can help. I& #39;ll share the details and you can talk to Amma directly.
