LET& #39;S GET STARTED!!
1. CHOOSING A MAJOR
you don& #39;t have to have a major you want to declare right when you get into college. if you, however, have one, then i suggest you should go with that!!
in the meantime, if you& #39;re undecided of your major, try exploring your interests. think about your (1/3)+

in the meantime, if you& #39;re undecided of your major, try exploring your interests. think about your (1/3)+
hobbies and passions. consult your friends and family and ask them about what they think matches you just so you can have more to think of. usually, you take general courses for about one or two years before declaring a major, so with that time, you can (2/3)+
figure out what you really want to study and claim a major on for college.
you can go beyond just your interests and look at how well-paid the jobs of your interests are and how it& #39;s like to be in that field of work (3/3)

2. MAKING RELATIONSHIPS
one great tip is to befriend the upper classmen!! it sounds intimidating, but being friends with upper classmen will help you in so many ways. they can help you understand the structure of the college, which professors to take, etc. (1/5)+

i have a best friend who& #39;s actually an upper freshman, and she helped me identify who the good professors are, and she gave me a quick tour around the campus. because of that, i passed all of my classes with straight A& #39;s and am more than familiar with my campus (2/5)+
i also have a co-worker who became my best friend instantly because of BTS
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤭" title="Face with hand over mouth" aria-label="Emoji: Face with hand over mouth">. just like my best friend, she gave me recommendations on who and what to take. she even gave me books for free!! (3/5)+
another tip is to speak first. communication is key, and if you can make new friends within the first few days or weeks of college, then it& #39;ll be easy to endure your first semester. who knows about how deep your friendship can go? i know one story about how (4/5)+
this person was looking for a place to stay in and their friend was welcoming and willing enough to give that person a place to stay. from group studies to any other activity, making friends in college will be fun and an amazing experience :) (5/5)
3. CHOOSING YOUR CLASSES
GIVE YOURSELF 3-DAY WEEKENDS!! set up your schedule in a way that you only have classes from Mondays to Thursdays. giving yourself an extra day for the weekend allows you to have more time to finish work. i did this for my whole freshman year, (1/5)+

and i can& #39;t thank myself enough for giving myself regular three-day weekends. plus, who doesn& #39;t want to wake up on a Friday WITHOUT AN ALARM?? (2/5)+
TAKE CLASSES WITH YOUR BESTFRIEND!! for the past two semesters, i had three classes with @kimsgirI (yes she& #39;s my irl and bestfriend
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💌" title="Love letter" aria-label="Emoji: Love letter">), and honestly it made going to class easier because i knew at least one person there that i& #39;m close to. (3/5)+
it was to the point where i would drop her home and she would buy me food and drinks in return. so beyond the class itself, it can even help you with the friendships you& #39;ve already made pre-college. (4/5)+
ALSO!! do not take 8 AM classes unless you have no other choice. you& #39;re at your best state of learning when it hits 10 AM.
ALSO!! do not take night classes. it& #39;s just not that worth it unless you& #39;re a "night" person.
i say the ideal time for classes is from 10 AM to 5 PM (5/5)

4. TIME MANAGEMENT
HAVE A TO-DO LIST!!
this is so essential because it helps you keep track of due dates, and from there you get to prioritize which work needs to be finished first. sometimes, memory is not the best way to remember your assignments. (1/4)+

also, it helps some people become more productive because they find it satisfying when they can cross off that one homework they needed to do. that sense of accomplishment can boost them to work harder and complete more tasks, repeating the cycle of achievement and reward (2/4)+
STUDY EFFICIENTLY!!
let& #39;s say you want to study for 6 hours straight. instead of literally studying for 6 hours straight, break that up into fragments. spend 25-30 minutes studying and give yourself a 5-minute break to do anything you want or like. (3/4)+

if you continue this pattern, you& #39;ll end up being productive for 5 hours and 30 minutes alongside a 30-minute break :) (4/4)
5. DOING WELL IN CLASSES
BE ENGAGING BOTH IN AND OUT OF CLASS!!
sit at the front row, give your full attention, answer questions if you can, meet your instructors during their office hours,, these are some of the few ways you can easily get familiar (1/5)+

with your class. also, it shows your instructors how dedicated you are in their classes and how badly you want to do well in their classes. because of this, instructors could potentially give you their best interest and attention, some might even boost your grade up :) (2/5)+
IDENTIFY YOUR LEARNING METHOD!!
i best identify myself as a visual learner, so when i study, i try to search for images and GIFs regarding what i need to study. also, study your notes as if you& #39;re explaining it to someone you know. (3/5)+

this allows you to really understand the material so that when you teach it to someone, they can understand it. walk around your room and recite it out loud if you need to because those are some ways of active studying :) (4/5)+
YOUR SYLLABI ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND
your instructors will only tell you about the course description, the pace, grading system, and anything else just once. if you try to ask them about information, they will more than likely refer you to your syllabus. (5/5)+
