Something very odd is going on: a series of Tory MPs seem to have re-tweeted a hugely misleading (almost potentially actionable) tweet about Keir Starmer from a hard right, anti-Islam Twitter account. https://twitter.com/lucyallan/status/1260711206765113345

This is a fuller clip of the Starmer interview, which makes it plain he was talking about what *was wrong* about the previous way of investigating grooming gangs, and why it was being changed. The tweet shared by the Tory MPs is utterly misleading.

It would seem inevitable that before the end of the day, Lucy Allen, Nadine Dorries and others will be making apologies and deleting some tweets.

Nadine Dorries has now deleted the tweet. That just leaves Lucy Allan.
