Heartbreaking to think of all those billionaires so desperate to do something for football but cruelly being held back by not being allowed to own the majority of the club.

It's like the denizens of Mayfair complaining about how much money they'd like to spend landscaping Green Park if only pettifoggers would get out of the way and let them build a wall round it and make it their own back garden.

I find it amazing that anyone could, with a straight face, look at the mess in English football and then have the gall to tell German fans that scrapping 50+1 is the key to securing clubs' financial future.
