Here’s the @CareQualityComm data obtained by @BBCBreakfast in full. It relates to deaths reported by Adult Social Care settings where people with learning disabilities may live (10 apr to 8 May):

- 1341 suspected/confirmed covid-19 deaths (1/3) https://twitter.com/bbcbreakfast/status/1260814600422866944
- 175% rise in total deaths compared to same period last year (1370 to 3765). The excess death rate for the general population is 75% and for all care homes 154% (2/3)
- Of the 2395 excess deaths reported, 44% were NON-covid - that’s over 1000 extra unexplained deaths (3/3).
