Clean Tech is a wide term which captures alot of businesses which ultimately seek to tackle issues around climate change..
Typically barriers to startup ecosystem the exist in terms of
-The University
you went to.
-Family background
-Connections / Network

In the cleantech space these issues are exacerbated. Why? Because Founders typically req. The following
(unwritten credibility signalling / practical knowledge )
- PhDs
- Masters Degrees
- Doctorates

Add another barrier. Typical clean tech funding doesnt work in a linear, tried and tested way.

Access to PhDs etc are limited. Therefore minority founders in the Cleantech space were few and far between. The exceptions were good folk such as
