So, I think I've done it! Here is my full analysis of Noelle's Season 5 Emoji Recap!

Also disclaimer! This is extremely speculative and no one is allowed to be mad at me if I'm wrong and got your hopes up, I am just here to share my thoughts please be nice to me

I've done my best to split up the emojis into 13 episodes, I know there's doubt over whether the recap actually covers the full 13 or just the first 10, but I'll address that at the end. Again, keep in mind this is extremely speculative.

EPISODE ONE:

: Horde Prime Clones touch down on Etheria. Adora is very stressed.

: Glimmer and Catra with the green “door” thing from the trailer. Dinner scene with Horde Prime. Stress, then they go to sleep.

I'm not sure if I think the specific shot of Catra and Glimmer from the trailer is what is being referenced here, as I agree with the majority opinion that that scene happens after the dinner, but I'm sure the two talk a little bit beforehand.

EPISODE TWO:
: Mermista, Perfuma, Frosta, Scorpia (annoyed??) Entrapta doing things, training and looking at a tower.

: Adora is running and is guided by something, portal scene?

: Horde Prime broadcasts a message from his Tower(s).

: Inside HP’s ship, Catra is running around, potentially has chance to leave but stays to give cake to Glimmer?

Also consider that Catra knows sometimes the best way to get something to a prisoner is through their dinner.

EPISODE THREE:

: Adora and Bow in space! Green door opens? The ship lands on a new planet, Entrapta is the one with the blowtorch (like in the clip). Bow loses it a little.

: The Star Sisters! (they're mentioned in Princess Prom so even if they’re not really The Star Sisters, they’re for sure the mystery 3 from the trailer.)

Which is weird considering Glimmer is there, but if a Green Door has opened, they might have saved her.

: Adora climbs a cliff (not counting this as ½ falls from Noelle’s three truths and a lie, we’ll get to that!).

In Season 2, represents the structure Adora and Swiftwind fix in E2, so my best guess is that they find another one of these structures. Doesn't work so anger?

EPISODE FOUR:

: Horde Prime doing experiments, Bow is there and shocks him??? No idea lol

: PROMISE PART TWO BAYBEE! Baby Catra and Adora, stress, and tbh I think the hearing aid is HP “plugging into” them with the needles in his hair.

: But what if it was all a dream or something? What’s interesting is that the bed is empty, which is definitely a choice.

This part absolutely throws me off because I think any Promise-esque episode should stand by itself but I don't know no one knows but I try

EPISODE FIVE???:

: No idea. Snowball fight maybe?

: Spinnerella, Netossa, Micah, Swiftwind celebrate? Given the snowflake and the ice this might be in Frosta’s kingdom. For some reason.

I don't get this part either.

EPISODE SIX:

: If you’ll allow me to go big brain here, notice how the hands are separate twice and then together on the third. Adora and Catra fail to catch each other from falling off a cliff twice, and then finally grab hands on the third.

Two truths and a lie, Adora doesn’t fall off the third time.

: space!! Gays win!! Catra is saved! Here the astrophysicists get mad and we cry. May or may not “defeat” Horde Prime here (but not really)

: ...more Razz baking?

So... here's where I placed the mid-season split, that part in the season where there's something dramatic but then it kind of shifts back a little, like S4E8 ("Boy's Night Out" after "Mer-Mysteries") or the literal split in the S2 and S3 arc.

This is where things become WAY less clear, which makes sense, you don't want to give away THAT much of the later episodes.

What gives me the most trouble is that none of the main cast (Adora, Catra, Glimmer, Bow, even Horde Prime) are really obviously mentioned again.

EPISODE SEVEN:

: I am manifesting Princess Prom 2, celebrating a presumed victory, OR it's a more official celebration of Scorpia becoming a princess.

: Peekablue and singing? She exists so...

EPISODE EIGHT:

: THE WAVE FROM THE TRAILER! This is indicative of all the trailer scenes where the Princess Alliance is in that purple canyon facing against 10000 Horde Prime clones and another hologram goes up

: Another message from Prime and stress ensues?

EPISODE NINE:
: Searching for magic? Sneezing? Noelle pls

: Cat from the trailer, I was under the impression this was in space because Bow’s spacesuit hand is in it? Considering how Adora and the main crew aren’t mentioned last episode, that could still be true.

: Shadow Weaver, what are you doing? Could the other woman be Castaspella and they do a sorcerer thing together?

: I think this is gonna be Adora’s moment where she reconnects with her magic. Remember that Mara is able to calm the boar in Hero, I foresee a parallel here.

EPISODE TEN:
: Horde clones go back to Etheria? Are we going to Eternia? No idea!!!

: Visiting Spinnerella and Netossa’s house, like the reviews seem to imply. The wink concerns me. Noelle please.

: Oops! The Heart of Etheria Still Exists Or Something!

OKAY NOW I MUST ADDRESS THE DEBATE BETWEEN 10 AND 13!

If this recap is just the first 10, then from now on it gets a lot easier and I might put together something quick later that follows that theory, but as I said, this thread is assuming all 13 are represented.

It's supposed to get vague from here on out. Even though Noelle calls them "emoji spoilers," she's not going to overtly spell out every single thing that happens, which is why I think the main cast isn't eluded to at all now.

The previous ones have always gotten a little vague towards the end. We know what they mean now because we've seen the show, but when we first got them we were stumped.

So, take this next part with several grains of salt.

EPISODE ELEVEN:
: Horde Prime has a message or he recounts his history with She-Ra. No clue.

: Crystal Castle, Mara Message TWO? Light Hope something... idk, that's what these have represented before.

EPISODE TWELVE:

: Shadow Weaver sets Brightmoon Castle on fire. Pls die.

: She-Ra’s runestone is broken, alluded to in Noelle’s drawing, and the Heart of Etheria loses function.

: Adora baby please be okay.. maybe I don’t want her to be the Heart after all

EPISODE THIRTEEN: (YES, REALLY)

: timeskip episode, and I have evidence for it, which I explained in this mini thread a while ago.

I would be so lost without that old tweet from Noelle, the consistency of Shadow Weaver and Fire holds everything together, and affirms that Catra and others will still be around towards the end!

That tweet and this recap were made in different contexts, so I can't quite figure out how to piece them together, so feel free to try and figure it out yourself!

Now something of note is that this recap is REALLY vague. My purpose in decoding it wasn't really to try and piece where every single plot point we're predicting is, more just taking it at face value to see what it represents.

Does that make any sense? Hopefully.
