Y'all talking about sub-label, but do you know how sub-label works? Do you know how many time JYPE getting rid of their sub-label if it doesn't bring in money? Divisions has budget, what make sub-label not have budgets? What make them so special that they won't even have to
upper management? Do you not listen to Sunmi, Yerin etc talking about how every little thing plan for comeback has to be answer to upper-management? It showed this management likes to micromanage, you think a sub-label would change that? I will say it, it would be worst.
It won't be 'Team Wang' if you're thinking of them. Do you not listen to what Jackson said about Team Wang? He paid the employees, not the company, but do you know how he can promote and be promoted by the official account? He still has to share with the company.
He's technically still under JYPE but with his own studio (china do studio a lot for each artist). So what it is: Jackson fund for his works, but the earnings will be split with the company...Which means, company don't work, but getting money.
Think about Team Wang situation for a bit. Do you still want it for G7? And Team Wang isn't a sub-label. A sub-label will be even more strict because it'd be with the company still, and will still have to answer to upper management.
I know we all want the best for G7, but for some stuff I feel very worried for due to y'all only wanting what you see and not understanding how it works and then getting disappointed. Although it shouldn't be my problem as i'm just a fan anyway. Just wanted to explain sub-label
or other words, 'subsidiaries' and how they'd work. Honestly at this point, i'd be better to just create their own company if y'all want sub-label so bad. But once again, will shut up now.
actually, a sub-label isn't even on the same level of a subsidiaries. It's just another 'division'. And it's also why JYPE won't have sub-label because Studio J was their sub-label which became Division. J-Tune was bought from Rain that became a subsidiary but now defunct.
You want to know the fate of JYPE's sub-labels? Studio J is now a Division, AQ was for Miss A, dissolve. J.tune was acquired from Rain, dissolve. AQ was the one with horrible management (rumored).
