The truth is, if you're aware of your mouth odour, you'll probably feel bad about it, the preceeding tweet wasn't meant to make you feel worse.
But you'll also realize that, people will avoid you when they notice you have bad breathe, you may not even get into a relationship because of it! It could even be so bad that it'll start to affect your self esteem.
You can deal with it however by maintaining proper hygiene, the simple things you take for granted are the things you need to do to get rid of mouth odour. what simple things?
Brush your teeth twice daily, just as it's important that you brush in the morning, it's important that you brush at night too. In fact, brushing at night is so important if you don't want to wake up to smelly mouth.
Imagine waking up to kiss your partner but it's the smell of your mouth that greets them instead. It's not good now.
and please, when you brush your teeth, whether in the morning or at night, brush your tongue too. You should treat your tongue well just as you treat your teeth! Spend at least 30-45 secs brushing your tongue every time you brush!
What also helps is staying hydrated all day, drink lots of water regularly so you don't have to deal with dry mouth. Some of you won't drink water until your your mouth is so dry you're already swallowing saliva!
It's not good! that's how bad breathe starts! so, always make sure you drink lots of water regularly!
Drinking water regularly will also wash off particles off your mouth, but asides drinking water, you should also floss regularly to remove food particles that got stuck in your teeth while eating.
Please I didn't say use "tooth pick" o, and I didn't say you should be doing "mxxcci mxxcci" after eating, use dental floss instead, you'll find it in your local pharmacy.
Wait, when was the last time you changed your tooth brush ?!!! did I hear you say 4months ? that's BAD! You should change your toothbrush every 2 months!! So, right now, go and throw that toothbrush away and get another one!
Bad breathe could be bad but I'm sure this thread will help deal with it. Also, don't forget to visit dentists regularly for optimal dental hygiene.
and; always be nice to anyone who has access to your toothbrush!!
