One of the things about diaspora before the internet was not realising all the Cantonese swear words your parents taught you were outdated and archaic.

I’m all like ‘Hearken foul fiend! Have at thee!’ to my overseas cousins who die laughing.

Need to return to the old country to learn how to swear properly like the rest of my generation.
