1/ Viewers of @GMB will remember that @BorisJohnson has consistently refused to appear on the show for fear of having to face totally appropriate questioning by @piersmorgan and @susannareid100 who's job it is to hold politicians to account on our behalf. To that end on 11.12.19
3/ Allow me to introduce you to Boris' minder that day, Mr Rob Oxley, who took a serious dislike to Jonathan Swain and who's behaviour that morning frankly was rather unbecoming, certainly for a PM's Press Secretary, which position he held at the time. Not British at all!
5/ Now, taxpayers may legitimately question what a SPAD does and whether they are getting value for money. Officially, they are there to support govt and assist and advise ministers. I have met many wonderful ones over the last few months and have seen them do terrific work.
6/ Mr Oxley I have not had the pleasure of meeting. He may be a nice chap who just had an off day last December. Who knows. However, followers of the #justice4harry campaign may have noticed an uptick in attacks on Team Harry and the campaign by those in authority recently.
7/ Sources in the FCO tell me that Mr Oxley has been parachuted in to the FCO to contain the scandal that is now apparent in the FCO following the Govt's handling of the #annesacoolas affair and the disgraceful attempt to cover it up. I wonder if the timing of the attacks are..
8/ coincidental are linked to Mr Oxley's clandestine efforts behind the scenes? Who knows? I wonder whether taxpayers should be allowed to find out the answer to that question given they pay his salary? For our part, we will simply continue our campaign for #justice4harry and
9/ engage with as many people as we can, respectfully to get to the bottom of things, ensure that those involved in misconduct are held to account, and that lesson are learned. Will Harry's parents achieve their goals? 100%. @piersmorgan @susannareid100 @SwainITV
