hello! this is a thread based on the issue of something 재민 has said on the radio yesterday. This is coming from my own view as a korean so i hope you try to understand. There could be grammar errors so i apologise. Please retweet if possible, i am also free to messages!
In Haechan’s radio yesterday, it seems that 재민 said 저능 when finishing. 저능 (jeo-neung) has the meaning of low intelligence. But he corrected himself afterwards during the radio. Myself and many Korean fans all have the same thinking, we believe 저면 was what he wanted to say
The word 저능 is not used much in Korea. So it mispronounces easily. Also seen during the radio, 제노 and 지성 were seen laughing at this. Please try to understand that they live together and become best friends. Like you and your own friends, i am sure most of you say hurtful-
words but don’t have the intention of the meaning. We don’t understand their relationship well enough but i can tell they don’t mean harm to 해찬. They could laugh with the meaning of ‘How could you have mispronounced it as ...’ or just laughing at the word but with no intention-
of the meaning. I just hope more foreign fans try to take on the different views of us (korean fans) or others before saying conclusions. Not understanding the korean culture or their relationship well could cause many misunderstandings. One word spelled or mispronounced wrongly-
in korea could mean a total different thing. I hope that you try to understand and take the time to read this. I am sure 재민 doesn’t mean it this way. The atmosphere was a happy and joking atmosphere. They also make mistakes. Of course a notice would be nice but this is what-
