Colombia has a hippo problem because no one claimed Pablo Escobar's 4 pet hippos when he died. The 4 turned into hundreds (soon to be thousands) of hippos, and they are an invasive species in Colombia.

Mantises come in different forms, including beautiful orchid mantis that (obviously) look like orchids, and the terrifying devil's mantis that looks like the Big Bad from Sabrina the teenage witch.
