「 AU Information 」

| This thread will be broken down into bullet points , because I don't know how to write one steady flow of thought to save my cheeks. |

• First and foremost , in this AU Ellie still has her nucelokinesis. However it isn't the main focus of her powerset. Earth - 65's Ellie's powerset focuses more on her Essokinesis and things of that nature.

• At the age of thirteen ,due to a public slip up with her powers , Eleanor " Ellie " Phimister was discovered to be a mutant. A mutant with what seemed to be the ability to warp reality itself. Which , unfortunately for her ,quickly caught Weapon X's attention.

Not even a ---

week after her discovery Eleanor went missing from her home. Gone overnight without a trace , nor a complaint from her parents.

• Weapon X spent the next two and a half years " tinkering ".

Subjecting the mutant now labeled Esso to different forms of " experimentation ". Tests and procedures to enhance the ability which caught their attention to begin with , and even unearth some new ones.

• Whereas for the most part the experimentation was successful there were some after effects.

Such as what can only be described as " glitching ".

Which is when Ellie's physical form jumps between different planes , dimensions , and times. To those standing in front of ---

her it looks for all the world like a video game character glitching out.

• Just like her main timeline counterpart Esso suffers from pretty horrific visions sometimes. Though she often calls them nightmares they don't just occur when she sleeps. Esso has been wide away , and had a " nightmare " hit her.

Regardless she tries to avoid sleeping ---

as much as possible to limit the chances of a " nightmare ".

• Esso is a very solitary being.

The majority of the last two plus years of her life were spent in isolation. So it's unfortunately what she had become accustomed to.

If she wants to be alone , and someone continuously pushes their presence she is quick to get aggressive

• Post shit at the facility hitting the fan ,and her escaping into the world once more, the sixteen year old hasn't done much but hide.

She has thought about going back to her parents. Yet she doesn't exactly trust herself not to throttle them for allowing what happened to her.

• A great deal of Esso's memory is damaged.

She doesn't remember her real name , she only very faintly remembers her parents ( another reason she won't go back : the memory of where to go is foggy ) , and she doesn't remember what landed her with Weapon X to begin with.

• Unlike her counterpart Esso is ( by S.H.I.E.L.D's standards ) incredibly unstable.

The lack of stability of what causes her " glitches " , and loss of control over her powes.

It is possible , just like it is possible for Ellie to become unstable , for Esso to ---

become stable. However it would require work , patience , and forgiveness that she just doesn't have inside of her.
