i was badly abused and harassed on twitter last month, to have an image of myself STILL pinned on this boy’s profile (without permission) is incredibly disheartening, the replies alone make me feel sick

if you can, please could you report this account and tweet

i also received multiple death threats from a variety of ‘football twitter’ accounts, this image of me is up on his account purely as a ‘trophy’ and it’s a breeding ground of abuse.

as a young woman who works hard, is full of compassion and empowerment - this broke me.

it hasn’t stopped me from carrying on but it makes me feel sick to know this image is still up there and that SO many people have seen it and will see it in the future, it takes 2 minutes to report and i really just don’t want it up on twitter anymore.

to you, it might seem like not a massive deal but for me it is. i live with my mental illnesses every single day, i have suicidal tendencies/ideation frequently, if i was in a lower place this could have seriously seriously seriously harmed me

harassment of any kind is not ok.

this harassment started due to me posting a picture of my body, trying to encourage other people to love the ‘flaws’ of their body. i was trying to spread some love and empowerment and i was mainly met with inhumane words and cruelty

so, if you can please could you report the original tweet, the user, any of the replies (i know there’s hundreds) and share this thread so more people can report it

this was a significant hit to my own mental health, i have self-harmed over this, i have cried, i have isolated

might not seem big to you but to me it is and i do not want this kind of behaviour happening to someone else. it’s inhumane, it’s vindictive and it’s shocking

i don’t want anyone else to receive death threats online over their body or any hatred for that matter.
